Data controller

What we collect

When you send the form we receive your name, email address, the organisation or place if you fill it in, and the text of your message. Along with it we record your IP address, browser user agent and the time of submission: these let us spot and stop automated submissions. We ask for nothing else and we don't combine this data with other sources.

Why we process it

To read your request and reply to it. The legal basis is the performance of pre-contractual measures taken at your request (art. 6(1)(b) GDPR); for the anti-spam technical data alone it is our legitimate interest in protecting the service from abuse (art. 6(1)(f)). We do not use this data for marketing or profiling.

How long we keep it

Messages stay in the mailbox for as long as needed to handle your request and any relationship that follows from it, and in any case no longer than 24 months from the last contact. Anti-spam technical data is stored pseudonymised and deleted within 24 hours.

Who we share it with

Nobody, other than the providers that make the service technically possible, appointed as data processors: the provider hosting this site and Mailgun (Sinch), which delivers the message — the European endpoint is used, so the data stays processed within the European Union. No data is sold to third parties or used for marketing.

Cookies and third-party services

This site sets no cookies, not even technical ones, and uses no analytics or tracking tools. Fonts and images are hosted here: opening these pages, your browser contacts no third-party server.

Your rights

You may at any time request access to, rectification, erasure or restriction of your data, object to the processing and ask for portability (arts. 15-22 GDPR). If you believe the processing breaches the law you can lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority.

Changes to this policy

If anything changes, the update date above changes with it. Earlier versions are not kept online.
